A little background information on this picture. This was taken at the last Ranch Horse show in 2011. Pictured left to right is Peppy Lil Hotrodder, Chick N Badger, Kickin Lil Peppy & Watch My Badger. The three are all get of Chick N Badger. We found it exciting to be showing three horses out of the same horse( Chick N Badger) and Tim uses Badger to turn back. Dad purchased this horse out of the Atwood sale many years ago. As you can see, we were lucky to have raised a lot of good horse out of him.

Jessi Kent continues to be a strong force in the youth division. She has spent some long hours in the saddle, and now it is paying off. Congratulations. Miss Jesse Kent purchased this mare from us last fall. She is a 2006 daughter of Smart N Haida.
Jesse has been very successful in the youth classes with this mare.
Thank you Jesse for having such 'courage'. It looks to be paying off well for you and Tinkerbell.
We have a 2 year old full brother to this mare for sale. He is listed on the 'for sale' page.

'Frankie' is Cheryl's ridin horse. She purchased him from us as an early 3 year old and has just went on with him. He is also out of our Hesa Texas Cowboy stud.
You can't get much more successful with a young horse than what Cheryl has been on this bay gelding.

Mares like this one are a true gem!!! "Watchy" is out of our Chick N Badger horse. Shirley got this mare when she was a three year old, and there is NOTHING this lady won't try on this mare. It is one of those combinations that we all strive to find. What a true partnership. Shirley started out just trail riding. Then moved up to AQHA reining and then on to winning a Rookie Plaque in the NRHA on this mare. She is presently showing American Ranch Horse also. She has shown this mare some cow and they are now being very competitive in the Amatuer Working Cow Horse class. Thats not a class that is suited for the weak of heart!!! Go gettem Shirley & Watchy!!

Ok, now I get to brag on my gelding. He has really come on as a solid all around horse. He is also out of Chick N Badger. I really like the athletic ability and the smartness of our Lil Peppy off spring. It is amazing that having a horse that I truely like and trust has helped me ride in classes that I would never dreamed of going in otherwise. There is a saying that goes: " There is nothing better for the inside of a person than the outside of a horse."

We took our cutting mare out of retirement....she was just too young & she likes her job too well not to continue to have a little fun and show her. 'TNT', as she is fondly refurred to, has proven to live up to her name. I am not sure who likes the cows more, though, her or me!
She gets her cow sense from her sire, Chick N Badger. No wonder I like the Lil Peppy's. They have been very good to me.

I turned her out to pasture....that was a hard walk for me. I sure enjoy riding this mare on cows! I thank Don Ellis for his training on her and patience and training with me.

We got this guy in about two weeks before the New Castle show. Put him back on cows a couple of times and went to the show. What a trooper this horse is. He just fell in stride like he had been in training all a long! he is not ARHA registered and the owner is not a memeber, so jackpot is all he can show in.
This gelding is for sale. He sure is a nice little cutting horse. More info on him can be seen on the 'Aged Horses' page of our site.

*did he REALLY think he could take on "The Princess" (Peppy Lil Hotrodder)
